Our visit to Jaipur this past May was nothing short of magical. As we wandered through the Pink City, we captured the intricate details that make this place so enchanting. From the awe-inspiring Hawa Mahal to the regal City Palace, Jaipur's beauty is truly breathtaking. The vibrant textiles, the delectable food, and the rich culture all came together in a surreal experience. Meeting the beautiful people of Jaipur, especially the artisans, was a highlight of our journey. Despite the intense heat, their dedication and passion for their craft shone through in every piece they created. Their art, straight from the heart, transforms our dresses into something extraordinary. These artisans are the soul of Threads of India, and their spirit brings our designs to life. Our visit to Sanganer village was a pure piece of artwork in itself. The detailed karagari there showcased our Indian roots with delicate precision. Discovering the beauty and artistry of Bagru textiles was an incredible journey, revealing the rich heritage and meticulous craftsmanship of our artisans. We are deeply grateful to the artisans for making our visit so memorable and for giving Threads of India a proud platform to celebrate the beauty and courage of Indian textiles. Their hard work and passion continue to inspire us and elevate our creations.

Start your journey with a visit to the iconic City Palace. As you explore this magnificent palace complex, you'll be transported to a world of opulence and grandeur. The architecture, a captivating blend of Rajput and Mughal styles, is the actual residence of the Maharaja. The breathtaking panoramic views and the unique experience of seeing stars during the day inside city palace that add to the palace's enchanting allure.

You can’t miss a wander through the vibrant shops of city palace, bazaars around city palace. The palace given space to artisans to pursue the art which they have making from so many centuries, oil-based perfumes, miniature paintings, traditional crafts, including textiles, jewellery, and miniatures handmade city area is a treasure trove of traditional crafts, including textiles, jewellery, and miniatures. You may have to test your skills with bartering for souvenirs!

Take a leisurely stroll along the pink city and enjoy a day and night visit of Nahargarh for ~ an exquisite Nahargarh Fort stands majestically on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, Nahargarh, meaning 'abode of tigers'.

According to popular belief, the name 'Nahar' refers to Nahar Singh Bhomia, whose spirit haunted the site and hindered the fort's construction. To pacify his spirit, a temple was built in his memory within the fort, which then adopted his name. To all the Bollywood lovers, Nahargarh Fort has also been featured including "Rang De Basanti," "Shuddh Desi Romance," and "Sonar Kella."

During the Indian Mutiny of 1857, Europeans, including the British Resident's wife, were sheltered in Nahargarh Fort by Sawai Ram Singh, the king of Jaipur, for their protection. The rooms are interconnected by corridors and adorned with delicate frescoes. Nahargarh also served as a hunting residence for the Maharajas.

Continue your exploration with a visit to Hawa mahal, Amer fort, panna kund stepwells, Jahal mahal, Giatore ki chhatriyan, Panna Meena ka Kund is a square-shaped stepwell featuring stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall. This room is believed to have been used for religious ceremonies before weddings or during popular festivals.

Start your second day with a visit to Jain Temple and Sanganer village, known for its historic town and tehsil located in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan, just 16 km south of the state capital, The artistry of Sanganeri hand block printing has earned a prestigious geographical indication, highlighting its cultural and historical significance. Sanganer is renowned for its vibrant textile printing, thriving handmade paper industry, and beautiful Jain temples.

Embrace more flavours of Rajasthan and sample the delectable street food like kachori, chaat, and the sweet malpua at the local stalls.

Conclude your pink city experience with live folk dances and traditional music performances, providing a captivating glimpse into Rajasthan's rich heritage.
